Garden Bed Instructions, Part 2, especially for Margaret!

Here it is, Margaret!
The promised instructions are below. I used five 2" x 8" x 12' redwood or cedar for each box. One of the 12' boards was cut into four pieces for the two ends. I used 4" x 4" treated posts to tie the corners and support the middles. After building each one it was lifted and carried to a leveled spot, filled with compost and planted. In the bottom picture you can see some of my 5th-grade students who had put the last one together. They are very easy to make, obviously!

Evan, James and Cody relax after after the thrill of a"Mission Accomplished".

Thanks for the info. I am mustering up excitement. Something to focus on but I have to admit that waiting to use them this spring, makes me not want to do it all. I was hoping to do it for now. I am sure that Liam would love to help me make them. We have the marriage seminar this Saturday. We also got about an inch last night of snow. Seems strange to be building beds. I might just start with 2 now and then move them around to see the rest of the configuration. I still plan to put in peas and some lettuces soon. I will have to work on where. I know that Joanne has offered her garden but I want them here. I suppose watering will make it hard but some day we will get the water system as they are working on the one at the shop. Patience. I know I will be so much more patient at the end of this little journey. But of course I want it NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I will continue to pray for Kelly and family and you and peace. I know the waiting is so hard. He likes us to lean in real close during those times. I love you.
